LFW: sass and bide

Feb 26, 2011

It was a case of seasonal amnesia at sass and bide’s A/W 2011showing. No hint of the cosy knitwear or shearling we’ve come to expect elsewhere, no earthy shades or berry tones. ‘Boogie and The History Maker’ was wall-to-wall fluorescents, colour clashes and print-on-print, topped with sci-fi fez style headpieces and tribal feathered jewellery. The delicate silk scalloping, concertina pleating with knotted and plaited details added texture to the more subtle looks.
