This could almost be a dual-trend as for some reason the azure hue appears almost always on eeny-weeny micro-dresses. I think cobalt is better worked with contrasting tones and thrown together with incongruous pieces (as Marc Jacobs and YSL show) because we all know there’s nothing worse than ‘matchy matchy’ is there?*
